Girls Who Print Mission and Programs
Girls Who Print works with high schools, universities, technical programs, and educators worldwide to foster engagement with students pursuing a career in print. Our initiatives focus on outreach and mentorship, online and in-person events, and learning from educators how to effectively support their programs and students.
GWP student members can connect with women who can help them navigate a male-dominated industry.
GWP members can create and develop relationships with women entering the industry who may become employees or partners.
For almost 2 decades, Girls Who Print has created opportunities for women to take center stage and shine. Through initiatives like Women’s Print HerStory Month, Fierce Fabulous Fridays, and our annual events, we highlight the incredible women working in print and share them with the world.
GWP members have access to exclusive events, podcasts, content, and panel discussions featuring women leading teams and companies, developing technology, running pressrooms, providing topical industry education and resources, sharing their professional career advice, and more.
In a male-dominated industry, it is imperative that women have the support of men and a seat at the leadership table. At the same time, women need a leadership table of their own. We must be in positions of power to institute meaningful changes.
Girls Who Print has created this table for you. Since 2009, we have been supporting women with the education, information, and resources they need to become hiring managers, business owners, and CEO’s.
GWP members have access to skill-building, career, and productivity workshops. ‘Ask the Experts’ and create discussion topics in our members-only forum. Create a profile, connect with our global members and expand the reach of your professional network.
Girls Who Print is the only woman-owned 501(c)(3) organization for women in the industry. Our mission is PERSONAL. We measure our success through your success and the growth of our network, not through a profit/loss calculation.
Membership fees are tax deductible where applicable and support our current initiatives, help us develop new programs, produce more content and events, and fund internships and scholarships for students.
Girls Who Print also accepts charitable donations and offers comprehensive sponsorship packages for companies of all sizes.
